Leonarda Art Gallery, in collaboration with Centrum Praskie Koneser, invites you to experience a preview of the 5th edition of Urban Art Area — an open-air exhibition in the very heart of Praga, at Plac Konesera! ⛫
On June 14 and 15, invited artists created large-scale works in a live painting format, which will be on display throughout the entire summer!
Leonarda Art Gallery is a well-known and respected contemporary art gallery. Its owner and founder is Leonarda Szwed-Strużyńska — an experienced art dealer, as well as a set designer and interior decorator.
Since 2018, Leonarda Art Gallery has specialized in showcasing and selling works by leading artists in the street art movement. The gallery is the organizer of Urban Art Area, the largest street art showcase in Poland. During the most recent edition, visitors had the chance to see nearly 500 artworks by over 70 artists.
Today, Leonarda Art Gallery is the largest street art gallery in Poland and the only one of its kind in Warsaw.
Starring:
TEMPZ
A graffiti and street art artist active for over 20 years, known for his comic-style linework and original color combinations. Co-founder of the Unicats brand and winner of Tattoo Expo Opole 2022. His work includes graffiti, illustration, and tattoo art, often featuring animal and horror motifs.
TAKI MYK
An architect and graffiti artist active since 1995, specializing in stencil and mixed techniques. He has painted in many European cities and participated in every edition of Urban Art Area.
ROJBER
A street artist since 2018, known for his characteristic pig character symbolizing joy in urban spaces. He combines passions for anthropology, history, and nature. Creates murals, stickers, and assemblages, treating the city as a field for experimentation.
MŁODY DRON
A graffiti artist and interdisciplinary creator, known for working with crews and projects like HEWRA. He produces murals, sculptures, animations, and experiments with 3D technologies. Active since the 2000s and participated in every edition of Urban Art Area.
MAKE IT SIMPLE
A painter and graphic artist, graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, with numerous exhibitions. Inspired by the city and visual communication, he creates murals and paintings by juxtaposing colors in surprising ways.
LUX PRZEZ IKS
An artist combining academic education with hip-hop aesthetics, recognized at many exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Creates illustrations, album covers, and murals, including for the Podlasie Opera and the Banksy Museum. His style features geometric forms and contrasts classical elements with tagging.
NIEBIESKI ROBI KRESKI
Creator of the character Varjacik, featured in murals, paintings, and tattoos across Europe. Participated in many festivals and artistic projects. Collaborated with brands and musicians, creating album covers and murals.
INKOIGNITO
An artistic duo formed in 2012/2013, known for their two-colored cat appearing on walls. The cat — a rebel and traveler — appears in various versions from Poland to the Dominican Republic. Their style combines painting with mosaic and plays with cultural icons.
FRESKY
A conceptual artist and writer active on the streets since 2022. Creates murals, stickers, and visual texts inspired by light distortions and illusions of reality. His works can be found in galleries and urban spaces.
FINER
An innovative graffiti creator from the TNA, IFCC, U7 crews. Also works in graphics and animation. His works stand out for a novel approach to form.
EXER
Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, an artist combining graffiti with studio painting. Known for numerous exhibitions and projects in Poland and abroad. Explores space and texture, creating murals and spatial objects.
AUTONE
A graffiti artist since 1998, developing a style toward abstraction and graffuturism. Creates murals and installations inspired by urbanism, light, and music. His works can be found in many countries, as well as exhibitions and publications.
