We warmly invite you to the Contemporary Jewelry Gallery (Galeria Biżuterii Współczesnej) for a Week with the Artists – Marta Włodarska & Aleksandra Przybysz.
Marta Włodarska – an artist and designer exploring the timeless beauty of Baltic amber for over 15 years. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, first working in Poland and then spending eight years in Germany, where she developed her unique technique of combining amber with wood and ran her own gallery. Her works have been presented at numerous exhibitions and fairs in Poland and abroad (Denmark, Germany, Italy, Dubai, Hong Kong, China).
Aleksandra Przybysz – an artist and jewelry designer, founder of the brand Ale.concept. For 15 years, she has been creating original collections that merge her experience in interior architecture with jewelry design. Her fascination with architectural structures flows naturally into precise, hand-made, and expressive jewelry forms. She graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University and the Higher School of Social Skills in Poznań, studying Interior Architecture. Her works have been exhibited in galleries and shows in Poland (including Galeria Sztuki in Legnica, Galeria Techne, Galeria Yes) and internationally — in Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Israel, Spain, the Czech Republic, and the USA.
The first ALE. collections were born from experiments with paper: folding, twisting, and bending it until creating durable, three-dimensional forms. Over time, geometric compositions evolved into more organic shapes. Each collection is a standalone story — an idea captured in an object.
Marta combines natural amber with aged wood in her works, creating jewelry rooted in nature and telling stories of light, time, and matter. Her works are not only jewelry but also interactive objects, such as the Amberoscope, and sculptural forms crafted in the Amberwood technique.
Throughout the week, visitors can meet the artists, purchase unique jewelry, or participate in workshops designing and creating jewelry using the Amberwood technique.
