Main page > Warsaw Uprising in Praga – A Guided Walk with Janusz Owsiany

The Warsaw Uprising is mainly associated with the left-bank part of Warsaw, but fighting also took place in Praga and became a permanent part of the district’s history. During the walk with Janusz Owsiany, a Varsovianist and expert on right-bank Warsaw, we will learn about the fate of Praga’s insurgents and residents, the locations of the fighting, and the events that took place here in August 1944. Join us for a unique story about the lesser-known side of the Warsaw Uprising.
