Prague Classical Music Concerts 2025
Summer Chopin Recitals at the Praga Koneser Center
Every summer Thursday – from July 10 to August 21, 7:00 PM | Plac Konesera
In the heart of Warsaw’s Praga district, among the atmospheric architecture of Koneser and the summer bustle of the city, the music of Fryderyk Chopin will once again resonate. The Praga Koneser Center, the Godnie Żyć Foundation, Harmonia Pictures, and Dom Ze Sztuką once again invite you to open-air piano recitals – a tradition of the Koneser Summer series. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy an evening of top-tier music in an open and welcoming space, surrounded by greenery and red brick.
As part of the Prague Classical Music Concerts series, seven outstanding Polish pianists – participants of the 19th International Chopin Piano Competition – will perform. Their interpretations will bring listeners closer to the genius of Romantic phrasing and piano artistry that continues to move audiences across generations.
All concerts will be hosted by Jan Popis – an esteemed musicologist, music critic, and renowned expert and promoter of Chopin’s work, long-time juror of piano competitions, and Vice President of the Fryderyk Chopin Society.
August 21, 2025 – Mateusz Krzyżowski
Closing the concert series is Mateusz Krzyżowski – the first Polish winner of the First Prize at the Paderewski Competition in Bydgoszcz and a finalist of the Chopin Competition. An artist with a distinctive style and a deep understanding of the composer’s work, his recital serves as the musical culmination of the summer series.
