Main page > Open-Air Theater Performance – “Open Relationship”
Open-air performances by OCH-TEATR and TEATR POLONIA, run by the Krystyna Janda Foundation for Culture, return to Praga as part of LATO KONESERA 2025! Once again, we are thrilled to welcome these amazing artists to the stage at Plac Konesera.
A farce. A commedia dell’arte. A play about marriage written by… a married couple. Quite literally — Dario Fo, recipient of the 1997 Nobel Prize in Literature, wrote The Open Couple together with his wife Franca Rame. Originally created for street theater, this sharp and witty piece pokes fun at the institution of marriage and plays with gender stereotypes. The “modern” open relationship portrayed in the play is one between two “free” — meaning unfaithful — spouses.
Let’s be honest. An open relationship has its flaws! The golden rule? If it’s going to work, it can only be open on one side — the man’s! Because when both sides open… you get a draft!
