Marta Włodarska – an artist and designer who has been exploring the timeless beauty of Baltic amber for over 15 years. In her work, she combines natural amber with aged wood, creating jewelry rooted in nature and telling stories of light, time, and matter. Her creations include not only jewelry but also interactive objects such as the Amberoscope and sculptural forms made using the Amberwood technique. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, working first in Poland and later for eight years in Germany, where she developed her unique method of combining amber and wood and ran her own gallery. Her work has been exhibited at numerous shows and fairs in Poland and abroad (Denmark, Germany, Italy, Dubai, Hong Kong, China). For six years, she appeared in the documentary series Baltic Gold (History TV), presenting her artistic and technical projects related to amber.
Monika Czuba – a jewelry designer, painter, and interior designer. She graduated from the Antidotum Jewelry Design School and the Collage Post-secondary Art School in Warsaw. She is a member of the visual arts group “Młyn” and the Association of Goldsmithing Form Creators (STFZ).
She has participated in both group and solo exhibitions, including at Galeria Pi, Galeria Lescer, Polswiss Art Auction House Gallery (2015), Artistar Jewels during Milano Jewelry Week 2023, Romanian Jewelry Week 2024, and the STFZ Broken exhibition at the Museum of Amber in Gdańsk. She runs her own studio in Piaseczno, near Warsaw. Her love for jewelry has fueled her artistic spirit for years. The pieces she creates tell fairy-tale-like stories through form and contrasting colors.
Additionally, until 28/11, you can visit the post-competition exhibition STFZ Presentations 2025: “Broken / Przełamane”, which premiered in March 2025 at the Museum of Amber in Gdańsk. Presentations is an annual artistic jewelry competition organized by STFZ since 2001, showcasing artists’ interpretations of a given theme.
