Jan Dobkowski and Others. Points of Contact

The exhibition “Jan Dobkowski and Others. Points of Contact” brings together different sensibilities, artistic languages and ways of looking at reality. It presents works by Jan Dobkowski in dialogue with the work of contemporary artists, including Edward Dwurnik, Tadeusz Dominik, Rafał Olbiński and Aleksandra Prusinowska, among others.

Although the artists use different artistic techniques and create their own distinctive worlds, they are united by a desire to go beyond the obvious – searching for their own language, emotions, metaphors and new ways of telling stories about people and the reality that surrounds us.

“Points of Contact” is therefore not an exhibition about similarities. Instead, it invites visitors to discover unexpected connections between seemingly distant artistic worlds – places where imagination, observation, memory and anticipation of the future meet.
