ANDRZEJ DUDZIŃSKI DUDI
Andrzej Dudziński was born in Sopot in 1945. He studied architecture at the Gdansk University of Technology in 1966-68, and then moved on to interior design and graphics at the Gdansk Academy of Fine Arts. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Faculty of Graphic Arts, Henryk Tomaszewski poster studio. While still a student he started to publish his drawings in the monthly magazine Poland and in the weekly magazines Szpilki i Kultura. In 1970-72 Dudziński lived in London, collaborating with the magazines of the OZ, Ink, Frendz and Time Out subgroup. In 1977 he was invited to the International Conference of Graphic Designers in Aspen, Colorado. After coming to the States he decided to live in New York. From 1982 to 1990 he taught at the Parsons School of Design in New York. He has collaborated with the Parsons School of Design in New York: The Atlantic Monthly, The Boston Globe, Newsweek, The New York Times, Playboy, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, The Washington Post and Time.
