Liebrecht & wooD Group received the second prize this autumn for Koneser in the category of the best office project completed in Poland in 2018.
During the final gala of the prestigious Eurobuild Awards competition, which took place on 5th December at the Doubletree Hotel by Hilton in Warsaw, the Koneser Prague Centre received the “New office of the year, Poland (2018)” award. A month earlier, the commercial part of the flagship investment of Liebrecht & wooD Group and BBI Development S.A. was recognized as the best office project of the year in CIJ Awards Poland 2018.
The jury of both competitions took into account, among others, the image of the investment, the level of commercialization, implementation in accordance with the standards of sustainable construction.
and the scale of revitalisation.
“A revolutionary change has taken place before our eyes. For the first time in history, the office sector in Warsaw’s Praga district wins in the most important competitions for the real estate sector. Only a decade ago, the right side of the Vistula did not actually exist in the consciousness of tenants, and today it is one of the most willingly chosen directions of development for companies. The popularity of Prague is evidenced by the fact that in the Eurobuild Awards competition Koneser Prague Centre won among as many as 16 nominated, excellent projects, representing leading locations for years, such as Śródmieście, Wola or Mokotów. We are glad that we are the leader of changes and respond to the needs of the market. That is why we are proud to announce the commencement of the second commercial phase of Koneser’s project,” said Magdalena Bartkiewicz-Podoba, General Director of Liebrecht & wooD Poland.
Completion of buildings M and N within the Koneser Prague Centre is planned for 2020. The buildings located between the Museum of Polish Vodka, Google Campus Warsaw and the picturesque Nieporęcka Street will offer a total of 17,500 sqm of rentable space – 5 floors of the highest quality offices and perfectly visible retail space on the ground floor. The second phase of Koneser will perfectly complement the existing commercial part of the project, covering 25,500 sqm of office space, which was leased in 98% before the investment is ready for use. Konesera’s office tenants include Atende, Google Campus Warsaw, Clico, Energy Solution, LINK, RK Legal and Waberer’s Polska. A significant tenant are companies from the WPP Group, a world leader in marketing communications (Ogilvy Group and Kantar Polska).
Koneser’s tenants appreciate the multifunctionality and urban development of the only building of this type in the capital. There are lively public spaces where employees can relax and spend time together, a shopping arcade supplemented with necessary services or several restaurants, bars and cafes, which constitute 30% of the complex’s area. In 2020, a unique pedestrian and bicycle bridge, connecting the Old Town with Prague, will be added to the amenities that make up the easy and fast access to the facility.
Koneser Prague Center is a project of revitalizing and giving new functions to the objects included in the former Warsaw Vodka Factory, located in the heart of Old Praga district. Koneser is an integrating space, which will change in the future and respond to the needs of users and their initiatives. Koneser has the first Museum of Polish Vodka in the world, numerous restaurants, cafes, bars and retail outlets, event areas, and in the first quarter of 2019 the first Moxy hotel in Warsaw (Marriott International brand) will be opened here. Koneser received BREEAM Interim 2013 New Construction certificates at the “Excellent” level.
