Aleksandra Prusinowska is one of the best Polish graphic artists and a creator of great oil works. She is an assistant in Professor Janusz Akermann’s linocut studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, where she defended her doctoral degree at the Faculty of Graphic Arts in 2018. She has been a multiple scholarship holder and winner of many awards, whose works have been exhibited at both Polish and foreign exhibitions. Her works are full of dynamics and specific energy, thanks to the characteristic use of colours and pop-culture and travel inspirations. Particularly appreciated are the linocuts created by Prusinowska, which surprise the audience with their complexity, including nudes full of sensuality, from which it is difficult to take our eyes off. Noteworthy in her works is the feminine silhouette, presented by her in a slightly hyper-realistic way, thus reflecting the modern approach to femininity.
